Our talent strategy
Gold Fields has a robust talent management strategy that focuses growing our talent internally. Our talent is reviewed both in terms of highly specialised technical talent and talent that is on a leadership path. Talent is mapped in terms of their potential and their performance and includes an assessment of the competencies, traits, drivers and experiences required for individuals to succeed in our business. We track a range of talent metrics including: internal promotion rates; diversity of talent; progression of talent in our talent pools; health of our disciplines; and succession coverage.
