Johannesburg, 16 July 2020: Gold Fields Limited (Gold Fields) (JSE, NYSE: GFI) shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service (SENS) on 25 May 2020 with regard to the publishing and distribution to shareholders of the Company's Notice of its Annual General Meeting.
A Supplementary Notice to the original AGM Notice has now been published on the Company's website and on SENS. The Supplementary Notice will also be posted to shareholders on 21 July 2020.
The purpose of the Supplementary Notice is to notify Gold Fields' shareholders that due to the continuing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Gold Fields is of the view that, in the interests of the safety of its shareholders, staff and the public, it would be prudent to hold its Annual General Meeting entirely by electronic communication and not physically, as was envisaged originally.
