Gold Fields celebrates its interns and recognizes the role they play in its teams – Business Empresaria

Business Business.- Pre- and professional internships in Peru not only represent an academic achievement for students in the final stages of their education, but also constitute a crucial step for the transition in the professional field. For this reason, the vast majority of young people look for opportunities in the labor market and explore different areas to enhance their skills and establish future goals.

In this sense, Gold Fields, committed to the development of young talent, has been developing projects and initiatives that seek to attract young professionals, women and men, through its Community of Young Professionals, offering more than 890 hours in a training program, within its High Performance Center (CAR), especially aimed at practitioners, in the development of skills; In addition, a culture of equity, inclusion and respectful workplaces for all people.

Also, Gold Fields offers a learning plan to all interns in your company and constant feedback on their skills. All this learning is taught and accompanied by excellent mentors who unlock the potential of these young men and women to the fullest.

Today, February 1, marks Intern Day, a date promoted by First Job, a leading Latin American consulting firm on employer branding and employee experience. This day seeks to be a space where precisely the commitment of the interns and their contribution from their role in the company is revalued, as well as the commitment of companies to contribute to employability and the generation of opportunities for young talent.
