Nguvu Mining Limited has been named as the new sponsor of Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club for the 2023/24 season.
Following the decision of Gold Fields Ghana Limited to cancel its sponsorship arrangement with the team, Nguvu Mining has become the club's headline sponsor.
Gold Fields wrote to the Tarkwa-based team, indicating their refusal to renew their sponsorship arrangement, a move that George Mireku Duker has urged them to reconsider.
Nguvu Mining, on the other hand, has stepped in to support the team, which has also acquired a ticket to represent Ghana in this season's CAF Champions League.
Details of the club's agreement with Nguvu will be revealed at a press conference on Friday, October 6, according to the club.
