While it is true that new cases have gradually decreased, it should not mean letting your guard down. Faced with an eventual third wave, the efforts of the authorities of Health Together with the support of private companies, they make it possible to strengthen prevention and be better prepared to serve the population.
Faced with this situation, Gold Fields is once again present in this fight against the virus and has donated 12 electric hospital beds and multi-parameter monitors with a printer to the Simón Bolívar Hospital in Cajamarca.
These teams will serve to increase the infrastructure of the hospital in order to provide better health care to the entire population of the province. This Gold Fields initiative is executed thanks to the joint work with the Regional Health Directorate, the Regional Government and the Integrated Health Network of Cajamarca.
"I especially thank Gold Fields for coming forward with this important donation that will be used very well in our hospital to strengthen the hospital system and our capacity for care. This continues to show that if we continue working together we will be able to overcome the adversities that arise. The efficiency with which the company has worked to obtain these equipment has shown us that time has not been an impediment ", commented Yoni slim, Director of the Simón Bolívar Hospital.
It is worth mentioning that Gold Fields, since the beginning of the pandemic, has managed more than 62 donations, valued at more than 5 million soles, with the sole objective of helping to save lives.
